Try this homemade recipe that incorporate some of the
above ingredients:-

2 pint basin or shallow ovenproof dish
6 slices (or equivalent) stale wholemeal bread
1pt fruit raisins, sultanas, apricots, nuts, sliced banana.
orange peel, prunes etc.
1 egg
1pt semi skimmed milk
2 tablespoon brown sugar
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Mix together and leave to soak for one hour or overnight



Grease the dish with butter or margarine and transfer
all ingredients.
Cook in a preheated oven at 180 C for 30 minutes slightly crusted and golden brown.
Spread treacle over the top then sprinkle with icing sugar while cooling. Mmmmm!
Eat immediately or cut into portions and freeze.
