THE ANSWERS

Bananas are a good source of energy as are Jam sandwiches and fruit cake. Bring something you like and perhaps a Mars bar for an instant energy boost if you feel tired. In hot weather allow 2 litres of water or squash for a full day walk. In the winter or poor weather a hot drink gives a lift.
